Artist Profile

Alongside my ability to teach, I have been passionate about sewing, knitting, crochet and crafting all my life. I started at age eight making clothes for my stuffed animals and later used patterns to make my own clothes, prom dresses and Halloween costumes. I have also made numerous quilts using many different techniques including hand appliqué, english paper piecing and foundation paper piecing. I take joy in designing a unique holiday card every winter that gets sent to friends and family. In the last year I finally got my hands on a Cricut Maker 3 and have enjoyed learning all that it can do. I also dabble in jewelry making and weaving, and even metal work!
